Artist Statement Beginning my digital media journey, this portfolio serves as a visual record of my exploration into Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign during the Digital Media class. Through dedicated learning and hands-on experience, I've uncovered the capabilities of these tools in shaping my creative endeavors. A sincere thanks goes out to Professor Blanka, whose guidance and expertise have been crucial to my learning process. Her support has empowered me to navigate the intricate features of Adobe's creative suite, from Illustrator's detailed vector art to Photoshop's dynamic visual narratives and InDesign's polished layouts. This collection not only showcases the skills gained but also reflects the collaborative spirit cultivated with my classmates. Together, we've exchanged insights, learned collectively, and grown as digital artists. As I present this portfolio, I extend my gratitude to Professor Blanka and all my classmates for their inspiration

Business cards

Imagen
Artist Statement In the creation of these business cards, I sought to encapsulate the essence of mindfulness through diverse visual expressions. The varying colors carefully positioned logos, and subtle design effects collectively invite a sense of serene harmony. The strategic use of light colors is intentional, reflecting the tranquility associated with mindfulness. Each card, with its unique artistry and placement, serves as a gentle reminder to embrace a moment of calm and peace. The chosen fonts, coupled with effects like basic feather, outer glow, drop shadow, and bevel and emboss, contribute to an overall aesthetic that encourages mindful reflection. Together, these business cards are an exploration of visual tranquility, inviting individuals to connect with the present and find solace in the art of mindfulness.

Postcard

Imagen
Artist Statement I made this mindfulness postcard for the Florida Community of Mindfulness, aiming to evoke a sense of peace and calmness. The chosen colors are intended to guide you to a serene mental space, encouraging a moment of reflection and stillness amidst the rush of daily life.  Crafted using InDesign, this postcard is a simple invitation from the Florida Community of Mindfulness to find solace in the present moment.  As someone whose life has been positively transformed by mindfulness, I believe that these quiet moments can be transformative, offering a chance to embrace the beauty of tranquility within and potentially change lives.  May the soft gradients and soothing tones on this postcard serve as a gentle reminder that mindfulness has the power to bring about positive change, just as it has in my own life.

Animation

Imagen
Artist Statement My animation in Photoshop is all about how much soccer means to me showing a little summary of my soccer career. It is not just a game—I am here studying in the States because of it. The animation shows my soccer journey, from playing as a kid to being part of The University of Tampa team in 2023. I show teams and universities that have been part of my soccer career. You will see the fun moments, like playing with friends and getting better at the game. While it mostly focuses on the good stuff, there are also times when things got tough. As everything else in life, you have to fight if you want to become someone in life, and this GIF I created is a great example of that.  Soccer taught me to stay strong, whether I won or lost. This animation is not just about soccer; it is about how the game shaped who I am. It is like a story told through pictures, showing the passion, hard work, and changes soccer brought to my life.

Somewhere

Imagen
In this work of art made with Photoshop, I mixed lights and shadows using different layers to recreate a special beach photo against the backdrop of the Titanic. I love the Titanic movie, and this picture is a personal favorite. The layers in the artwork symbolize a mix of grand dreams and ordinary moments, encouraging viewers to relate their personal memories to cinematic fantasies. Through careful play with light and shadow, this work becomes a simple yet meaningful story, blending my personal history with the universal appeal of an iconic tale. On the other hand, I put my tag brush in my chest because if I would have to tattoo it on me I would like to tattoo it on my chest. I decided to put it in the corner of the picture as well, so it is easier to see the details of the tag brush.

It would be tough to Photoshop myself into the picture because there is not much room for me, and the lighting does not quite match, making it hard to look natural. I got the idea for my project from the picture because I really like elephants, and it made me want to imagine myself petting an elephant. The picture made me laugh mainly because I did not expect the surprise in the second image, and the girl with wide-open eyes was especially hilarious. I would like to create a similar illusion in a picture because I love cars, and the first image surprised me with something I never expected to see, which looked very real.
