Artist Statement
I made this mindfulness postcard for the Florida Community of Mindfulness, aiming to evoke a sense of peace and calmness. The chosen colors are intended to guide you to a serene mental space, encouraging a moment of reflection and stillness amidst the rush of daily life. 
Crafted using InDesign, this postcard is a simple invitation from the Florida Community of Mindfulness to find solace in the present moment. 
As someone whose life has been positively transformed by mindfulness, I believe that these quiet moments can be transformative, offering a chance to embrace the beauty of tranquility within and potentially change lives. 
May the soft gradients and soothing tones on this postcard serve as a gentle reminder that mindfulness has the power to bring about positive change, just as it has in my own life.

One of the tools that I l found easy was the blend tool. This tool allows you combine two objects with any color you choose. It can also combine texts or whatever you choose to combine. Another tool that can be very useful is the color theme tool. This tool is perfect to find the exact colors you are looking for, since you can create your own color theme. You can also see how they are going to look together. One of the tools that I found hard to use was the magic wand tool. You can select one object, and it will pick the same color that the object has. The problem is that there are some colors that are really similar, so it may pick the color that you did not want to pick. Hi everyone, my name is Ricardo Sepulveda. I am from Santiago de Chile. I am 23 years old, and I am a senior here in UT. I am also playing soccer here in the university, which is the sports that I do since I was 6 years old. Soccer has given me unforgettable memories such as being part of my national team U15 and U17, winning championships, and making friends all around the world. However, when you feel so much love for something or someone there are going to be tough moments that you need to get through. I had an injury in 2017 and I had to be off the field for 7 months. During moments like this I believe is when you learn the most about life. Sometimes we do not appreciate what we have until something happens, and after this event in my life I take every second on the field as a gift that life is giving me.   I love reading books about psychology, communication skills, and self-realization.
